On-road Subcommittee

Subcommittee conference calls are held the 4th Tuesday of every month at 11:00 a.m. CDT. Email Amy Bhesania at bhesania.amy@epa.gov to join the conference call.
The On-road Subcommittee facilitates timely implementation of road and highway related projects to improve public health in the collaborative region, plus the border areas with Canada and Mexico. Activities are focused on participation, strategies, projects and funds to achieve emission reductions from on-road sources.
The On-Road Subcommittee work plan focuses in five areas:
- Idle reduction
- Truck Stop Electrification
- Blue Skyways Collaborative On-Road Challenge
- Clean School Buses
- International Border Efforts

| Note: This is list of major focus areas only. It is not an exhaustive list of the On-road sector efforts that the Blue Skyways Collaborative and/or the On-road subcommittee members will support. All types of On-road sector reduction efforts will be considered including those related to diesel technologies, air pollution, and fuel use. |
