B5 Gets Texas Approval

This means that a B5 blend can be sold in the covered areas of Texas that are required to sell only TXLED-compliant diesel.  Note that the B5 blend must be made with TXLED diesel. 

No additional additives will be needed to meet this requirement if made according to the approval notice.  The notice and the letter to the National Biodiesel Board, which sponsored the testing, are at the link below.  Scroll to the bottom of the table.

The Alternative Emission Reduction Plan that allowed unlimited blending of biodiesel in the TXLED covered areas of Texas has expired.  Let me know if you have questions.
