Equipment (Non-road). This category applies to products or processes that reduce air pollution from agricultural and construction equipment. | ||

Air/Water/Rail Transportation. This category applies to regulatory or policy initiatives and programs implemented at airports, rail/locomotive hubs, marine/river vessels and ports, to reduce air pollution and/or promote energy efficiency. This includes efforts to address facilities and infrastructure as well as their associated support vehicles and equipment (both on and non-road). | ||

Energy. This category applies to products or processes that use renewable energy, energy efficiency and alternative energy pathways to reduce air pollution from area and stationary sources (ex.: green-building techniques, wind turbines, fuel cells, landfill methane recovery systems, etc.). | ||

Fuels. This category applies to efforts to promote alternative fuels, fuel blends and fuel economy, for vehicles and equipment (both on and non-road). | ||

Highway (On-road) Vehicles. This category applies to products or processes (including retrofits, re-powers, vehicle replacements and/or hybrid vehicles) that reduce air pollution from on-road vehicles; as well as, to transportation infrastructure and/or transportation efficiency innovation programs/projects/policies (such as idle reduction) that make transportation systems more efficient and reduce air pollution in the process. | ||
