Bruckner Truck Sales

Bruckner Truck Sales is a dealer for Mack and Volvo trucks with 10 locations in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

We are a full line dealer with truck sales, parts and service.  For heavy duty diesel trucks we can assist in engine re-power, idle reduction, and vehicle replacement.  Some of the products we offer are bunk heaters, aux HVAC system, and diesel particulate filters.

HUSS LLC is the leading supplier of diesel particulate filters that qualify for DERA funding. The HUSS MK diesel particulate filter system if verified to meet CARB Level 3 requirements and is capable of collecting up to 99.9% of diesel particulate matter (PM).

HUSS Product Description

The MK System is an active regeneration diesel particulate filter. It operates independently from the exhaust gas temperature. This makes the MK System our most versatile product. By using active diesel burner technology, the filter regeneration is a self contained process and can be done on any exhaust temperature profile.

The MC System is a passive regeneration system. It requires a minimum exhaust gas temperature of 200° C at 10% duty cycle. This system post-injects diesel into the exhaust gas during operation to perform the regeneration.

The MC System is a passive regeneration system. It requires a minimum exhaust gas temperature of 270° C at 40% duty cycle. This system does not require any additional heating catalysts.

Haar Consulting Services, LLC

We are recently retired Caterpillar Engineers and Managers who have formed a consulting group working with Marine applications around the world to address emissions generated from Cat and other diesel engines.  Specifically we have been working with towboats operating on inland waterways.  Our experience has uncovered the following facts…
We can facilitate your program

  • EPA emission regulations are rather complex for marine applications for both new and existing boats.  We have been able to summarize these regulations  and communicate to individual operators in a way that an educated decision can be made to upgrade their existing fleets and realize economic as well as environmental gains.
  • Federal Stimulus and other grant funds, while difficult to understand the applications, appear to be available to assist boat operators to help offset as much as 75% of the cost of the upgrades mentioned above.  We are working with government  agencies to help procure your grant.
  • The solutions we can provide will, as mentioned, optimize fuel economy as well as improve emissions.  These two events are many times mutually exclusive.
  • We can make your operation more efficient, greener and allow you to maintain and add Jobs…  we address all the critical success factors from the Stimulus package.
  • We have access to Cat Dealers and technology that you will not find with other consulting groups, and can offer our services at a significant savings to our clients.

Rush Enterprises would be very interested in partnering with an eligible entity. Rush Enterprises, Inc. owns and operates the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in the United States, representing truck and bus manufacturers including Peterbilt, GMC, Hino, International, Isuzu, Ford, UD, Blue Bird, Diamond and Elkhart and two construction equipment dealerships in Texas representing John Deere construction equipment.

The Company's vehicle and equipment centers are strategically located in high traffic areas on or near major highways in eleven states throughout the southern United States. In regards to our locations in the Blue Skyways region, we have 22 locations located in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico and have a customer base that frequently travels in the ten state incorporated Blue Skyways region.

Our project types can include all or be a combination of replacement, idle reduction technologies and/or retrofit technologies.  We participated with our primary OEM, Peterbilt, in the latest round of Clean Diesel funding.  Our stores submitted for 140 customers requesting replacement trucks totaling 1,442, and submitted for 616 customers requesting idle reduction and/or retrofit technologies covering 10,397 trucks.

We were honored to learn that some of our projects were awarded a grant through the American Lung Association successful submission in EPA region 4 – three hybrid replacement trucks and 114 idle reduction units.  We are actively working directly with the ALA and our customers to assist them in complying with the requirements of the grant.  This has been a very educational experience and one that we believe will assist us in future endeavors.

The Board of Directors of Rush Enterprises has made a strategic commitment to be active in Clean Diesel initiatives including commitment of financial and personnel resources.  We would welcome the opportunity to partner with an eligible entity in the next round of the Diesel Emission Reduction Act program.  I have listed my contact information below as well as a link to Rush Enterprises for your information.  I look forward to hearing from you and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
