Back Missouri Clean Diesel Funding

Four areas in Missouri have release RFPs for American Recovery and Reinvestment Act DERA funds.

The Department of Natural Resources’ Air Pollution Control Program was recently awarded $1.73 million through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to implement a clean diesel project in Missouri.  The project will target the four areas of the state facing the worst air quality challenges.  The funding was divided evenly among these four areas.  Projects will be selected through an RFP process, and interested entities will be allowed to submit an application for a project.  All eligible applications in each area will receive an equal opportunity to be funded through a lottery selection process.  Eligible applications will be drawn with the first applications being drawn getting funded, and continuing until all of the funding is depleted.
